Hi all,
The weather at the moment is pretty rubbish for the end of May, so I stayed inside today and spent a little time crafting.
I've made a baby card for two CAS challenges. Less is More are asking for DIE CUTS and Addicted to CAS are looking for TEXTURE ...
I cut a large heart aperture using a Sizzix die, then embossed with large dots. I then used my two new Memory Box dies to cut the heart and sentiment.
Waste not, want not, I used the die cut heart to make another (less CAS) baby card. Looking at it I should have placed the sentiment slightly higher, but hey ho, it's stuck down now! Lol.
Okay that's me for today but I would just like to finish by saying a big THANK YOU to all you lovely Limette ladies who paid me a visit last week. Your kind comments were much appreciated!
Okay dokey, bye for now
Take care
Suze xx

New Baby
Hi all,
Well, it's been a couple of weeks since I posted, but my craft room is now tidy(ish) and I can finally breathe and work in it again.
After all the Christmas fairs, my card stock is severely depleted, so I've kick started it again with a baby card (gee, I'd almost forgotten how long it can take to make one card!) for the following three challenges:
Less is More - New Baby
Addicted to CAS - New
Supplies Used:
Little Chick: cut with my Silhouette
Sentiment: Woodware
Gingham stamp: Wendy Vecchi, SU Basic Gray Ink
DP & Ribbon from stash
Circle, Heart and Oval Punches
Thanks ever so much for popping in, hope to see you all again soon.
Take care

Hello Bear!
Hi everyone and may I wish you all a Happy New Year! I hope this year will bring you all good health and happiness.
As for New Year resolutions, well I don't usually make any but I would like to get a bit fitter and trimmer (this middle aged spread malarky is no laughing matter!) and I would like to do more regular crafting and sewing and get back to entering more challenges.
Anyways, I'm here today with a card for the new challenge over at Crafty Cardmakers. We've actually undergone a bit of a revamp and we are now "Crafty Cardmakers and More". We will still have our usual fortnightly challenge but we're also starting a new bi-monthly mixed media challenge.
Our theme for this fortnight is "BEAR WITH ME", hosted by Feebsy. She would like to see a teddy bear, or more realistic image of a bear as the MAIN focal point of your project.
I don't have any bear stamps so I went for a punch art bear ....
I punched out the oval and round shapes from kraft card and inked lightly with Vintage Photo DI. The bear's blanket is Stampin Up's top note die and the baby letters are from Papermania.
Our Sponsor for this challenge is:
Thank you so much for popping in, I know I've been very lax in the blogging department of late, I think part of the problem is the complete and utter disaster area that is my craft room. I am going to have to have a MAJOR clear out as I can barely find a path to my desk, never mind find a bit of clear space to be creative in. Hopefully I will get this done sometime in the next week and then I will be raring to go! Lol.
Take care and hope to see you all soon!

CCM Teddy Bear Card
Hi all,
And here we are at the beginning of another week and can you believe the last day of September, the weather is still quite nice with us here but the days are definitely getting much shorter. I'm definitely becoming more of a couch potato now that the nights are drawing in!
I've a furry card for you today for the new challenge over at Crafty Cardmakers. Jackie is our hostess and she has chosen the theme "Cute and Furry".
Well cute and furry is not my usual style, I certainly don't have many stamps that fit the bill, but I did find a scrap piece of faux fur so I've made a furry teddy card, which I think would be perfect as a baby card ...
I rather like how it turned out so I've ordered some fur off Ebay so I can make a batch of them. (I've been asked to do 4 Christmas Fairs this year so I'd better get cracking with making some stock!)
Our sponsors for this challenge are Di's Digistamps
Thanks ever so for popping in, have a lovely week.

Baby Owl Card
Hi all,
It's me again, the reclusive blogger, here today with a quick CAS card for the new challenge over at Crafty Cardmakers.
It's our 100th Challenge and the theme is WINGED THINGS.
I've made a quick CAS baby card ...
I think I'm starting to get my creative juices back because as soon as I saw this fab owl stamp by Woodware, I just had to have it. The body of the owl is paperpieced and I've added extra colour with Promarkers. The sentiment is also Woodware.
For the first time I'm also joining in at CAS on Sunday where their current challenge is Oh Baby.
Our sponsors for the Crafty Cardmakers challenge are Crafts and Me and Woodware Craft Collection. I hope you can find the time to join in.
Okay, that's me for today, thanks for popping in, take good care.

Two Little Owls
Hi everyone,
Hope you're all enjoying some sunshine today - we've had lovely weather this weekend - about time too and long may it continue!
I've made a card using my favourite new punch - the owl from Stampin Up - which fits nicely with two challenges ...
This week's Less is More Challenge - which has a theme of A Baby or A Child, and
CAS-ual Fridays CFC53 Challenge - which is Punches or Dies
I already have a few baby cards in my stash so thought I'd make one for twins.
Owls stamped with Brilliance Pearlescent Orchid and punched out. Nest and banner are from the Stampin Up Petal Cone Die, leaf is from SU bird punch. Also used Swiss Dots and TH bark embossing folders, small flower punch and blingy flowers. Sentiment is silver embossed.
Okay, that's me for today, have a great week everyone.
Take care

Baby Elephants
Hi everyone,
A quick post today, it's my son's 15th birthday so we're just away out for tea. The theme this week over at the Less is More Challenge is "Punches or Die Cuts". I've done a bit of both ...
My initial idea was to use the Stampin Up bird punch, but rummaging through my punches I came across an unused Martha Stewart elephant punch. The papers are mainly Stampin Up and I used a nestie to cut out the aperture.
Wishing you all a great week.
Thanks for visiting.

"Less is More" Challenge
"Button or Ribbon" is the order of the day over at the Less is More Challenge this week. I have to say I rarely use either (can't tie a bow to save my life!) but I guess that's what a challenge is all about. I'm sure there'll be some lovely creations this week but my one is definitely plain & simple.
I've made a couple of baby cards, the pram is a cuttlebug embossing folder which I've just matted onto paper and embossed cardstock then mounted over the ribbon.
A blue one ...
and a lilac one ...
Might try something more adventurous later in the week if I have time.
Have a great week everyone.
