Australian Cross Stitch
Thinking of my brother and his family who live in Brisbane and are enduring the terrible Queensland flooding. Fortunately they live in a suburb which is far enough away from the river system and is on slightly higher ground.
As you can see from the date on this cross stitch, it was sewn 20 years ago when my friend Aileen and I took a year out to go travelling in Australia. (apologies for the window reflection)

I remember it well!! Our travels are etched into that cross stitch!!
Need to find out if the area you lived in then is under water? Didn't think about it before! Not very good at this "blogging" lark.
Yes, we lived in Sherwood which was flooded.
