Hi all,
Another week and another Monday are upon us and it's time for another challenge over at Crafty Cardmakers.
This time our challenge is MASCULINE BIRTHDAY. (Make a masculine card that includes some technology or a gadget). Well, this certainly was a challenge for me because I don't usually "do" male cards - I tend to just buy them!!!
I don't do fancy either so it's another clean and simple card ...
The penny farthing stamp and sentiment are both Stampin' Up. I also used a snippet of antique map DP.
Our sponsors for this challenge are Di's Digi Downloads and The Stamp Man
Now, tell, me, does anyone have a cure for crafting aversion! I've been like this since Christmas, I just can't seem to get enthused to do anything and I have to tell you, it's starting to annoy me. I really want to get back into it but nothing seems to be inspiring me. Any suggestions gratefully received!
Okay dokes, thanks for coming to visit, hope you're all keeping well.
Suze xx

I really like this image and it looks fab stamped on kraft. Thanks for playing along with my challenge, Rebecca x
Love your clean and simple design. The penny farthing looks super on the Kraft.
Perhaps you need a play date with some crafty friends to get your mojo kick started.

Oh Suze, I do sympathise with your lack of crafting enthusiam. I think the key to keeping your excitement going is 'new'! It doesn't have to be new stash (although new stamps always do it for me! I look at them and immediately think What could I do with these?) but a new technique or entering a challenge outside your comfort zone is quite exciting. I do hope you feel more creative soon - maybe spring with all those lovely light bright colours will help.
Don't know about not doing male cards this looks pretty darn good to me!and sorry don't know a cure for lack of mojo ....except maybe for a glass of red wine to kick start the brain cells ,well it works for me!! hee he x
fabby card Suze. Love SU ;)
Big hugs

I like this for so many reasons, it really is a brilliant masculine card.
What helps for me is doing crafting without the pressure of actually creating anything. I will Gesso items or do batches of tea/coffee staining or prepare backgrounds (working on large sheets of watercolour paper with Gesso and watersoluble crayons). Being amongst my supplies without any pressure does help or why don't you return to a project you really enjoyed creating and make something in a similar style.
I am sure others have come up with better ideas than my own but what matters is what will help you.
Wishes
Lynne
