"Less is More" Challenge

Week 19 over at the Less is More Challenge and it's a one layer week with the theme "In the Frame".

I've used a frame from an Inkadinkado Christmas set which has never seen ink before and have had a bit of fun playing about with Tim Holtz distress inks (my daughter will argue that these are her inks - but she's happy to share! - aren't you Emily! xx)

I stamped the frame using Crushed Olive and Dusty Concord and the centre of the frame is sponged with Tattered Rose and Worn Lipstick.

I've left out a sentiment as nothing seemed quite right and I think it would have detracted from the main image.

Frame - Inkadinkado Doodle Frames Holiday Stamps
Lady's face - Inkadinkado Friendship Stamps
TH Distress Inks and Versafine Vintage Sepia

Happy crafting everyone, hope you all have a great week.
Suze xx

I think it's great that your daughter shares her crafty supplies! LOVE the image on your card...and without the sentiment, it can be used for quite a few different occasions!

A fab card Suze.

Isn't it funny how this challenge is getting us all to bring out those poor neglected stamps that have never seen the sight of an inkpad. Sue.x

Just wonderful Suze, and you're definitely right about the sentiment, anywhere you put one would have made the card off balance. I struggled to find a frame to stamp but seeing this card has reminded me that I have two of these Inkadinkado frame stamps too!! Sheesh! I tell you, I have no clue what I've truly got in that room of stash upstairs!

Wonderful job, I love your combined stamps, they compliment each other so well. I must admit I admire your distressing abilities. Mine always look messy or I smudge just at the last minute. Yours look effortless.
