Diamond Jubilee

Hi everyone,

Sorry, long time no see, life has taken over and Mr Mojo has gone awol! Lol!

I have a card for you today, I made it earlier in the year for a competition one of our local craft shops (The Papeterie) were running. However, I didn't post it at the time so I figure it's okay to enter it into some challenges now.

Pan Pastel Challenge -  Diamond Jubilee
The Stampman Challenge - Card for a Queen
Creative Craft Challenge - Red, White & Blue
Sir Stampalot Challenge- Medals and Monarchs

Made with the TH dress form die, Papermania paper pack, a few embellishments, touch of distress ink and the sentiment and numbers were PC generated.

We don't really go in for street parties in Scotland (it's more of an English tradition) but we do have a strong connection with the Queen - Balmoral is only about an hour's drive from where I am.  When it was William's wedding, I intended just to have the telly on in the background and go about my usual business but I found myself glued to the TV, not wanting to miss one minute! - I'm sure Tuesday will be the same.  My husband and son will not be interested and my daughter will be in Paris on her school trip, so I'll be sitting on my ownsome enjoying the festivities and they can see to their own lunch! Lol!

Hope you all enjoy the holiday weekend too.

Take care
Suze xx

Lovely card, Sue. Wonder where your mojo has gone? I will be watching on TV next week, too, so I will drink a toast to the Queen and to you and all the other watchers! Hugs, Valerie

This is a lovely card and perfect timing for posting it! Love the additions to the dress and your framing of the sentiment. Maybe we should have a Jubilee crafting session!!! x

Hello Suze ... great card here.. just right for our PanPastels UK challenge this week!
I loved the royal wedding and had a small craft table plonked in front of the telly so I didn't miss anything while I was making cards!! Enjoy your weekend
