Trying Very Hard

Hi Folks,

My mojo still seems to be hiding under an invisibility cloak but I'm trying very hard to find it!

I have been browsing and trying to catch up with my visiting and I've been inspired to make a wee tag for one of my favourite challenges ....

Anything But a Card - Challenge 10 - Things with Wings

I started off by making a couple of origami butterflies. They were a little bit fiddly as I used 2 inch squares but as long as your creases are sharp, it's fine. I made the antenna with a couple of seed beeds and some thin ribbon wire.

The Kanban image was clear embossed onto the tag which I then coloured with distress inks.

Finished it off by adding the quote, pearls and lace.

And I'm also linking to the fun anniversary post over at Ardyth's, instigated by the anniversary this week of the lovely walented and titty talented and witty Darnell.

We'll be 18 years married this year, and no we didn't get married in bonnie Scotland - I like to do things a bit differently, so we went to Las Vegas! My husband still nags me for only giving him $10 pocket money a night!

Thanks for popping in today.

Take care

Suze xx

I love those origami butterflies! I keep saying I'm going to try some, but haven't done so yet. LOVE your wedding photo...and Las Vegas would be a fun place to get married ...and $10 a day in Vegas would have lasted me very long either! LOL!

Hi Suze
I know what you mean about your mojo, feeling that way myself.
Now before I comment I have to say Thank You for your comment on my circus canvas.
This tag is so sweet and brings spring and summer joys into our homes (you do know I am looking out on snowfall at this moment!). That is a beautiful sentiment and just love the lace.
Talking of love how sweet do the two of you look - congratulations on your anniversary!
Wishes
Lynne

Thank you so much, Suze, for joining in the fun and posting your UniQ wedding photo! It's been a real thrill to see everyone's photos. Like a love train!

Thank you, too, for all your sweet comments on my posts! I'm sorry I didn't come by sooner. I took some time off to actually celebrate with Mister, and I'm slowly making my way through the fantastic links over at Ardyth's.

Thank you again! It's been really overwhelming! And I'm especially thrilled with your compliment that I am walented and titty. I do try to keep that latter fact under wraps. Darnell #64
