"Less is More" Challenge

This week over at Less is More, the challenge is "off the page".  As usual it took quite a bit of trial and error. I eventually settled on this water lily image, I stamped and masked it and have further highlighted the pink flowers with diamond stickles.  Not sure if it's too bottom heavy and lacks something at the top??  Any thoughts/suggestions gratefully received!

Here is my entry:

Inkadinkado Flower Sentiments
Kaleidacolor Birthstone Ink
Diamond Stickles

(I just want to add a wee apology for not getting round to viewing a lot of the entries last week.  We had a bit of a family crisis - my son ended up in hospital and now has a whole leg in cast - however he's now home and is slowly on the mend).

Happy Crafting
Suze x

I like that there is nothing at the top actually - I think its enough that the image is different colours and the stickles highlights are great.

I think it looks lovely - very calm and serene.

Is the sentiment part of the stamp or did you add it in yourself... it's most effective either way.
I think the card works well as is, it's just great!
I was sorry to hear about your son, I hope that he progresses well.

I have, and love, that Inkadinkado flower sentiment and having seen your treatment find myself thinking that it is overdue an inking!

The ink is very effective with this stamp and I love the touch of sparkle. I don't think the card needs anything in the top half. Hope your son is on the mend - you could definitely do without that kind of family crisis!

I like the way you have glittered the pink images to make them stand out and it makes the blue images look nice and subtle.

Hi Suze,
thank you for your comment on my blog. Yes you are right, the image is not quite off the edge. The subject is so small, that you could not see it, if i had used only half. But the heart jumps out of the box in the corner.
I really like your card.
Greetings Heike
