Winged Heart

It's a sketch week over at the Less is More Challenge - "That looks easy" thought I, but as usual, I spent a fair amount of time faffing about until I was happy with something ....

I stamped the image once directly onto the card base then twice onto spare card (one which I'd painted with the distress stain) and paper pieced them back together.

It is annoying me slightly that the sentiment is a bit wonky (I did it freehand) but maybe it just adds a 'quirkiness' to the card??

Heart stamp is Kanban
Alphabet stamps are those little G Studio pegs
Versafine Onyx Black Ink & Fired Brick Distress Stain

A huge round of applause must go to Chrissie and Mandi for the hours they both must have put into last week's challenge, at least you should have time for your own crafting this week ladies!

Have a great week everyone - Happy Stamping!

Suze xx

Fab card Suze, love the image:)
Those studio G alphabets are such a fiddle to stamp in a line but it works fine on the card...I hadn't noticed until you said :)

Hi Suze
I never would have guessed you faffed about. Perfectly clean but with such impact.
To say I inspired you is amazing, thank you. A note that the canvas printer paper is different from when I talk of using other canvas. Never tried artist sheet canvas in my printer but it might well work. The images on the brooch and altered box uses paper that is intended for printers.
Wishes and thanks for your lovely comments.
