Happy Saturday Bloggers,
This is my second post today - so I'll make it quick!
It's a "Lucky Dip" over at the Less is More Challenge this week, and we have a picture inspiration ...
Here is my interpretation (although I'm not all that happy with it - it's not really me! and I'm not sure how strictly you have to follow the inspirational pic - I may be disqualified for using black!?) ...
I coloured some card with a Baby Pink Promarker, then stamped a Hero Arts flower in Versafine Olympia Green. Vase is a Stampin Up Punch, leaves are a Stampin Up die. I added a touch of Sakura sparkle to the leaves and flowers.
Thanks for visiting, hope you all have a lovely week.

Too Many Challenges, Not Enough Time!
Hello bloggers,
I seem to be falling behind with my challenges lately, and this week some new challenges have been launched which I'd also like to play along with, so I've made a tag which covers three of these challenges ...
Artful Times - Make a Tag
Gingersnap Creations - GC142 Spicy Supply Challenge - Border Punches
Simon Says Stamp and Show - A Tag
Tag base is a terracotta coloured linen card, punched with an EK Success border punch. I inked up some card with Distress Inks then stamped with Dina Wakley's 'Lonely Girl'. Sentiment is Wendy Vecchi. Butterfly punch is Martha Stewart.
Artful Times is a new challenge blog set up by the lovely Neet, Sam & Von - it would be great if you could join in and support them in their first challenge.
Thanks for visiting.

Three Brothers
It seems ages since I last played along with Gingersnap Creations but with this being their last month, I just had to make the effort to join in.
I've made a little hanging for Granny's Photo Album Challenge.
The cheeky chap in the middle is my grandfather Peter, along with his brothers Adam and George. Their mother died in June 1909, two weeks before Peter turned 6 and we think this photo may actually have been the day of their mother's funeral. They're certainly dressed in their "Sunday Best". Adam and George both emigrated to Canada but Peter remained in Scotland.
Thanks for paying me a wee visit.

Less is More Recipe
Hi everyone,
Sorry I haven't been around the last week or so. I was full of the cold last week and also had a stall at a school fayre yesterday so was trying to get stuff ready for that.
Anyway I've came in from the sunshine for half an hour to make a quick card for this week's Less is More Challenge which is to choose any three past challenges ...
I've gone for ...
week 16 - butterflies
week 32 - seeing double (two hearts)
week 55 - punches & die cuts
Stampin Up DP, border punch, heart punch, sentiment and very vintage roller. Versafine vintage sepia ink and Sizzix heart die.
Thanks for visiting, hope you're all enjoying the glorious weather.

This week's LIM
Hi everyone,
Hope you're all having a nice day. It's lovely and mild here today but the sky is getting darker and darker, there's going to be a downpour!
This week over at the Less is More Challenge it's a one layer card and the theme is "script".
This was my third attempt - the first two ideas failed miserably!
Heart stamp is from Stampin Up, inked in Vintage Sepia, then sponged with Victorian Velvet and Worn Lipstick DI's. I then added the tiniest scrap of lace and a pearl to each heart.
Thanks for popping in - wishing you all a great week.

Vintage Twinchies
Hi everyone,
I got a lovely little package in the post today - six vintage "twinchies" from the Gingersnap Art Exchange.
These are from Valerie, Petra, Alexa, Laura, Annette and Kerry.
Thank you so much ladies and thanks Laura for organising the swap.
These are the ones I made - my first go at making twinchies ...
I made a background using Trisha's Serendipity technique (another first for me).
I collaged some paper scraps, painted over with gold acrylic paint then overstamped in Versafine Vintage Sepia using Stampin Up's Vintage roller.
Images in the bottle caps are from The Graphic's Fairy.
Thanks for popping in, hope you all have a lovely weekend.

Sitting on the Fence
Hi everyone,
A late entry this week for the Less is More Challenge, which is "Neutrals".
It's been over a week since I've blogged - I've just been in a "can't be bothered" mood. Partly due to the fact that my craft room is in such a mess, I can hardly bear to go in it. However, I thought I'd tidy my desk a little this morning and of course got side tracked thinking about the challenge, so here's my card .... I've gone for cream, kraft and black ...
It would also fit the last two weeks' challenges as I've only used scraps and punches!
Oh well, should I continue tidying now - nah! time for a cuppa!
Thanks for popping in.
