Sitting on the Fence

Hi everyone,

A late entry this week for the Less is More Challenge, which is "Neutrals".

It's been over a week since I've blogged - I've just been in a "can't be bothered" mood.  Partly due to the fact that my craft room is in such a mess, I can hardly bear to go in it.  However, I thought I'd tidy my desk a little this morning and of course got side tracked thinking about the challenge, so here's my card .... I've gone for cream, kraft and black ...

It would also fit the last two weeks' challenges as I've only used scraps and punches!

Oh well, should I continue tidying now - nah! time for a cuppa!

Thanks for popping in.
Suze xx

It's lovely!! I have the same problem with messes. I'd have to clean to craft and it seems overwhelming, but then when I force myself to clean, I unearth a punch or a paper and I HAVE to create. Thus, my craft desk is never fully organized!

Suze, I totally understand having a messy craft area is bothersome! When I remodeled my craft room a couple of years ago, I vowed that I would clean up after every project. I'm amazed that I've been able to follow through, but I clean up after each project is finished....unless of course I'm working on three or four cards at a time....then my desk is REALLY messy!!!

Love what you've done here....a perfect combination of colors....and a beautiful card!!

Talking of tidying I found a forgotten bar of chocolate under a pile of stash lol

Its a fab card Suze, I love that little bird. I know what you mean about the craft room, mine is a disaster and I have to share when my husband works from home, but its so small we both can't use it at the same time.

Super card, Suze. I love all your pretty punched flowers and the sweet little bird.
I'm with you and the messy craft room. I have two large desks, yet I craft amongst a pile of stash in a 12" square - LOL! My husband thinks it's hilarious!! x

Thats a lovely card - really really nice. Yeah I know about the messy craft room, it just seems to spread all over everywhere, and still you dont have the elusive "thing" - so you end up buying more. I find that a good clean up does help focus the mind, it also encourages you to mess it up like it was in the first place dontchathink!!

Yep, my art room is pretty much a complete and utter mess at this point. It's kind of like shopping when I clean it up, finding forgotten things to use . . .

but a creative mess is better than idle tidiness, right?

Super sweet card, Suze!

A beautiful design and I could see this for Spring/Easter cards in soften tones - this card could be used for so many occasions.

Hi Suze, wondered where you'd got to.......under a pile of stash perhaps??!! I'd need to spend a whole day tidying just to make an indent.

Love your bird sitting on its fence with the trellis and flowers. x

Lovely sweet card Suze. I know what you mean about a messy craft room. No matter how many times I tidy my room it just doesn't seem to stay tidy for long! Dianne
