Shades of Green

Happy Easter Sunday everyone,

I wish I could take credit for this lovely wee cake but we bought it yesterday at a Craft Fair in St Andrews. It's carrot cake and very yummy indeed!

Onto this week's Less is More Challenge, which is ...  Three Shades of Green

Here's my take on it ...

A very simple card made with Sizzix star dies - one cut from green miri, one from green felt and the smallest one stamped with Brilliance Pearlescent Ivy, matted onto embossed and plain card.

Thanks for coming to visit, hope you all enjoy the rest of the holiday weekend.

Suze xx

Beautiful card, love the mix of textures! But did you have to show that cake?! I'll have to look for some chocolate or something now! Hugs, Valerie

Hi Suze
Oh I haven't been to St Andrews for such a long time, a place I loved to walk around, always loved the charity shops there and happy memories.
Great card, love the spotty background.

When I saw the cake, I thought "Not another talent!!" but I'm sure that you could if you tried. Love the simplicity and non specific gender appropriateness(??) of your card. Thanks too for welcoming me back to the fold.

The question is: is there any cake left by Easter Monday?!
The stars really pop against the embossing in your card.
