Sweet Sixteens

Hi everyone,

Another quickie from me today.

I've owned a Silhouette SD machine for nearly a year now and I'm ashamed to say I haven't really got to grips with it yet.  I've been told by Sue & Marie that it's really simple to use - maybe I'm just a technophobe or maybe I'm just thick! (no comments please Marie!).

However, there does seem to be a lot more online tutorials available now - I just need to find the time to sit down and have a proper play.

Anyway, there's a new Silhouette/Cameo challenge on the go (The Cameo Spotlight) so I thought I'd give it a bash this week ...

one for a boy and one for a (not very girly) girl ...

Thankfully the CAS style fits in well with teenagers (and my abilities!).  Well, we've all got to start somewhere. Lol.

Okay, that's it, ta, ta for now, thanks for popping in.

Suze xx

Hi Suze.

I have just upgraded to the Silhouette Cameo and am determined to get to grips with it. Love this simple card and hope you don't mind if I use it for inspiration! Have a look at http://www.birdscards.com/ for free files.

Haven't kept up with blog visits of late so am going to have a look at your previous posts.

Suze, these are fab. I love the CAS style. I'm so pleased you're giving your Silhouette another go. You'll find just playing and trying different things it will all fall into place and before you know it you'll be a whizz - that's how I've learnt so much and as you know I just think this machine is the best thing. Keep on practising and enjoying. Sue.x

Nice clean and simple design. The paper behind the letters make them really pop. Thanks for playing with us at the Cameo Spotlight!

These both are really fun and super clever! I love using the negative of a die cut - it's one of my most favorite things to do with my Cameo! Thanks so much for playing with us a The Cameo Spotlight - we're so glad you did!!
