CATCH A FALLING STAR ....

... and put it in your pocket ... save it for a rainy day ...

Evening all, I hope you're all well.  It's been absolutely baltic in the north east of Scotland today, so I'm afraid there's nothing for it but to stay home, craft and eat cake!

There's a bit of a trend going around at the moment - "Craft & Cake" - Valerie, Chrissie and Aileen are all at it and me too. Made a banana bread earlier in the week - it didn't last 24 hours - and made a lemon drizzle yesterday .... very tasty.

Anyway, onto my card,

I made a pocket out of Stampin' Up DP, die cut a sparkly star and added a couple of small brads and some sparkly alphabet stickers (a tad fiddly to get lined up!).

The idea is to pop a money gift in the pocket for good exam results etc.

I'm entering into three challenges ...

CASology - Song (Catch a falling star)

CAS-ual Fridays - No Stamps

lemon drizzle cake
Okay dokey, that's me for tonight, thanks for popping in, take good care and if you've time, why not make a delicious home baked cake and share it with your blogging friends!!

Oh, by the way, I've been getting some spam comments so I've had to put on 'comment moderator' for the time being. Honestly, have these people nothing better to do!

Bye for now
Suze xx

Sweet card Suze. Youngsters would love a card like this especially if that note was peeking out of the pocket!
I do hope you stay warm and safe. Eating cake and crafting?? I'm not a great cake eater but the crafting sounds good for me! Now, chocolate, that's a different outcome.
Hope you are able to enjoy your weekend.

Well done, indeed! That song reminds me of "Love Actually" - right near the end, the kids at the school sing it. Great combination of 3 challenges! Thanks so much for playing along with CASology and CAS(E) This Sketch this week!
